Jensen Engelhardt

Racing Career debut: Winton, 2020 (Holden Astra)

V8 SuperUtes series debut: Sydney Round 2, 2023

Outside of Racing: 4WDriving and Exploring Australia.

Jensen Engelhardt is our Full Time V8 SuperUte Driver, first appearing in Sydney 2023 for round 2 of the series. He also celebrated his 17th Birthday on day 3 of the event and had the pleasure of meeting his idol Craig Lowndes.

Born with racing in his blood, Engelhardt is now competing in his 3rd season and showing strong progress.

Victorian Excel Series

Gavin Newman

Racing Career debut: Phillip Island, 2014 (MX-5)

Outside of Racing: Spending time at the beach and playing guitar

Gavin Newman doubles as our Commercial Manager and JKD Racing driver in the Victorian Excel Series.

Gavin first appeared behind the wheel in the Excel series for the ACL David Lowe Memorial Enduro Cup (November 2022).

At JKD Racing we are proud to have Gavin working with our team. When he's not working full time, he is often at a race meeting with one of his many hats.

Gavin drives for Team Medical at varies events across Australia, and when the Melbourne Grand Prix is on, you will find him in the starters box as the Official Starter for the biggest event in Australia.

Guest Drivers

Tom Oliphant

Oliphant has an impressive track record with two wins in the British Touring Car Championship, including success in Europe and The Middle East in GT Racing. He brought a wave of energy and skill to our team that we were privileged to witness come to life on the infamous Mount panorama track for the 5th Round of the V8 SuperUte Series 2023.

Glen Melling

Melling has previously raced in Holden Commodores in WA since 2015. He Joined JKD Racing for the 2023 BOSCH Power Tools Perth SuperSprint, the first round of the 2023 V8 SuperUte Series.
Finishing 13th for the round, Melling was a great addition to our team to kick start the year.
