Jensen Engelhardt
Racing Career debut: Winton, 2020 (Holden Astra)

Jensen Engelhardt is our Junior Development Driver, first appearing in the V8 SuperUte 2023 season in Sydney for round 2 on his 17th Birthday. Born with racing in his blood, Engelhardt drives alongside his Step-father and JKD owner Dean Brooking.
First learning to drive a car on the family farm at the early age of 6, Engelhardt has been raised to drive and loves to race. He has since been training and developing his racing skills on various tracks and in vehicles including an Astra, Porsche and Excel.

Dean Brooking doubles as our team director and experienced JKD Racing driver in the V8 SuperUte Series.
First appearing in the series in Tasmania for round 1 under the number 52, Dean has since expanded JKD Racing to a 2 car team.
An aspiring business owner, Dean shows the momentum to take JKD Racing to the next level year after year. With a high passion for motorsport, Dean has remained constant in the industry from a young age, leading him to the formation of what JKD Racing is today.
Gavin Newman
Racing Career debut: Phillip Island, 2014 (MX-5)
Outside of Racing: Spending time at the beach and playing guitar

Gavin Newman doubles as our Commercial Manager and JKD Racing driver in the Victorian Excel Series.
Gavin first appeared behind the wheel in the Excel series for the ACL David Lowe Memorial Enduro Cup (November 2022).

Tom Oliphant
Oliphant has an impressive track record with two wins in the British Touring Car Championship, including success in Europe and The Middle East in GT Racing. He brought a wave of energy and skill to our team that we were privileged to witness come to life on the infamous Mount panorama track for the 5th Round of the V8 SuperUte Series 2023.
Glen Melling
Melling has previously raced in Holden Commodores in WA since 2015. He Joined JKD Racing for the 2023 BOSCH Power Tools Perth SuperSprint, the first round of the 2023 V8 SuperUte Series.
Finishing 13th for the round, Melling was a great addition to our team to kick start the year.
