-Bathurst Weekend Recap-
Another spectacular year at Bathurst!
This round we had two cars on the track, driven by Tom Oliphant and our own Junior development driver Jensen Engelhardt.
Sadly, Oliphant was unable to finish Race 2 resulting in DNF. Race 3 ended with our drivers holding strong in 14th and 15th. However due to a centre bearing fail and then a clutch failure in the #115 ute, Oliphant was unable to compete in race 4.
Mcphillamy park was unforgiving to Engelhardt as coming out too wide ended the race for him after hitting the wall, which also earned him his first ride in the medical car. Engelhardt was all okay after his first ever motorsport crash and is taking it as a lesson on this difficult track.
This will forever be the iconic circuit for Australian motorsport, and we’ve been so grateful for the 110% effort put in by the entire team over this difficult weekend.
We are now rebuilding and getting geared up for the next round on the streets of Surfer’s Paradise in the Gold Coast in 2 weeks.
Race results from Bathurst, round 5 in the V8 SuperUte Series.
This was Oliphant and Englehardt's first time tackling the mountain. Although it was an unfortunate end to the weekend, both drivers had a blast and loved the challenge that came with this legendary track.
We are now getting ready for the next round of racing on the streets of the Gold Coast, with big announcements to happen in the lead up to this exciting event. Â
